Walk Three - Broughton

Sunday 16th November at 3pm

The next Wild Goose Walk will start from the Red Lion public house in Broughton at 3pm on Sunday 16 November.

We will walk along the High Street and up Cransley Hill, then on the footpath around the back of the Redrow estate and down The Bank. We will cross the Kettering Road and go down the footpath, across the stream and over the field towards the church. The route will then follow Gate Lane and the Broughton-Pytchley bridleway, doubling back along the footpath past the back of the church. Finally, we will return up Church Street to the Red Lion. You can expect the walk to take about an hour.

Please have footwear suitable for walking. It is said that there is no such thing as poor weather, just poor clothing! If it looks like it might rain, bring a waterproof. The walk will go ahead unless the weather is extreme.

Dogs are welcome, but please bear in mind that others may bring their dogs as well. Please keep your dog on a lead.  This walk involves two stiles and a narrow kissing-gate, so may not be suitable for large dogs.

We look forward to seeing you!
