The first Wild Goose Walk will start in Mawsley at 3pm on Sunday 21 September. Gather by the Mawsley Parish Council noticeboard at the junction of the footpath and the main road out of Mawsley close to the westernmost exit from the village (i.e. furthest from the A43).

 

We will walk along the road towards Mill Lane, down Mill Lane to Old Lodge, and then back up the footpath towards Mawsley. You can expect it to take a bit over an hour.

 

Please have footwear suitable for walking. It is said that there is no such thing as poor weather, just poor clothing! If it looks like it might rain, bring a waterproof. The walk will go ahead unless the weather is extreme. The nature of the footpath means bare legs might be inadvisable.

 

Dogs are welcome, but please bear in mind that others may bring their dogs as well. Please keep your dog on a lead.
